MyAccount HTML5 Console

The HTML5 Console available via MyAccount is used to administer Virtual Servers.

The console provides the same Start, Stop, Suspend, and Reset controls as MyAccount.  It also provides console access to the Virtual Server that lets you log in to the machine.

To access console, login to your account, browse to the services list then the service and click console. A new tab should appear with console options and blank console.  Once the status bar at the top indicates it is connected, click inside the blank centre section and press any key to activate the console.

We recommend that you use up to date version of web browsers with the HTML5 console.  It is compatible with current versions of most browsers: IE10+, Chrome 16+, Firefox 11+, Safari 7+ (and Safari on iOS 6+).

Having trouble? Note that the HTML5 console uses port 7343.  This is not a problem for most users, but if your firewall blocks this port the console access won’t work.  You will still be able to access your VM using SSH or RDP
